The TENORI-ON is an entirely new kind of musical interface, created by combining an idea from media artist Toshio Iwai with Yamaha’s electronic instrument technology. The TNR-W, which has already been released, has white LEDs and a magnesium alloy frame. By contrast, the new TNR-O has vivid orange LEDs and a plastic frame. Also, the LEDs on the rear have been omitted, and the instrument is powered by an AC adapter only. In this way, Yamaha has reduced the cost of this model, making it very accessible.
